We collect information you provide directly: linked Google account email and display name (if you choose to authenticate), in-app purchases, and support communications. We automatically collect gameplay data (match results, ELO scores, response times), device identifiers for guest sessions, and standard server logs (IP address, timestamps).

We use collected information to: operate and improve the game service; calculate ELO ratings and leaderboard positions; process payments and deliver purchased items; send service-related notifications; detect and prevent cheating or abuse; and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited cases: • Service providers: trusted third parties who help us operate the Service, including: - Google (for OAuth authentication) - Paddle.com Market Limited (for international payment processing, as Merchant of Record) - PayOS (for Vietnam payment processing) - Render (backend hosting) - Aiven (database hosting) - Vercel (frontend hosting) - Cloudflare (CDN and DDoS protection) These providers process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. • Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, users, or the public. • Business transfers: in the event of merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. International data transfer: Some of our service providers (Paddle, Render, Cloudflare) may store or process data outside Vietnam. By using English Arena, you consent to this cross-border transfer. We ensure providers maintain adequate protection standards equivalent to those required under applicable data protection law.

Guest session data is retained for 90 days from last activity. Linked account data is retained until you request deletion. Payment records are retained for 7 years to comply with financial regulations. Anonymized gameplay statistics may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, JWT-based authentication, and secure payment processing. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to our service.

English Arena is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Our service integrates the following third-party services: Google OAuth for authentication; PayOS (for Vietnamese users) and Paddle (for international users) as payment processors. These services have their own privacy policies. Paddle privacy policy: paddle.com/legal/privacy. We are not responsible for the data practices of third-party services.

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and associated data; withdraw consent for optional data processing; and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

English Arena uses browser local storage and session cookies to provide essential service functionality. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or behavioral analytics cookies. Data stored on your device: • Authentication tokens (ea_token, ea_refresh_token) — to keep you logged in across sessions • Onboarding state (ea_onboarding_done) — to remember if you have completed the tutorial • Service worker cache — to enable offline-friendly behavior and faster loading You can clear this data at any time by: • Logging out (clears authentication tokens) • Clearing browser data via your browser settings • Uninstalling the Progressive Web App (PWA) if installed Clearing local storage will sign you out and may reset onboarding preferences, but does not delete your server-side account or data. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party behavioral tracking services.

Dữ liệu phiên khách được lưu giữ 90 ngày kể từ lần hoạt động cuối. Dữ liệu tài khoản được liên kết được lưu giữ cho đến khi bạn yêu cầu xóa. Hồ sơ thanh toán được lưu giữ 7 năm để tuân thủ quy định tài chính.

Chúng tôi triển khai các biện pháp bảo mật tiêu chuẩn ngành bao gồm mã hóa HTTPS, xác thực dựa trên JWT và xử lý thanh toán an toàn. Tuy nhiên, không có truyền dữ liệu internet nào là 100% an toàn.
